Executive Chairman
John founded Moneyfacts Group in 1988.
Prior to that he was Senior Partner of a firm of Solicitors in Norfolk
John was Founder Chairman of the Norwich and Norfolk Financial Industry Group
and a member of Norwich City Council’s Local Strategic Partnership. He was a
Board member of the National Skills Academy for Financial Services and Chair of
the East of England Board. He is Chair of Judges of the National Card & Payments
Awards and is Director of the Birdwatching and Wildlife Club.
John holds an Honorary Doctorate in Civil Law from the University of East Anglia.
Marcus Rudd
Managing Director
Marcus joined Moneyfacts Group as Finance Director in March 2003.
Marcus qualified as a Chartered Accountant with BDO Binder Hamlyn in 1990
and subsequently joined PriceWaterhouseCoopers in the specialist taxation department.
His career in industry has included Finance Director of Galaxy Travel
(the East Anglian Regional Travel Agents) and the UK Holiday Group.
Marcus is currently a member of the Advisory Committee of the Publishing
Licensing Society.
Nicola Lucking LLB
Non Executive Director
Nicola joined the Board as a Non Executive Director in 2000.
Nicola qualified as a Solicitor in 1974 and was a Partner in Capron & Helliwell the
Norfolk Broads Solicitors from 1980-2007 and is now a Consultant.
Nicola is Chair of the Corporation of Paston Sixth Form College, Member of the
Eastern Regional Committee of Springboard Housing, a Member of the Solicitors
Disciplinary Tribunal and a Member of Norfolk County Council’s Schools Appeals Panel.
She was formerly Chair of Wherry Housing Association, Director of Circle Anglia,
Vice Chair of St. Matthews Housing and a Director of Springboard Housing.
Robert Hollinshead
Non Executive Director
Robert joined the Board as a Non-Executive Director in 2007.
He was Chief Executive of the Newcastle Building Society from 1998 to 2006.
Robert is a Graduate of Bristol University and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1979. His earlier career included Co-operative Bank, Royal Trust Bank (Jersey), Provincial Bank and Town and Country Building Society.
He was Chairman of the Northern Association of Building Societies, Executive Committee Member of the Council of Mortgage Lenders, Board Member of the Newcastle & Gateshead Initiative and Chairman of the local Board of Common Purpose. Robert is currently also Chair of Livingstone Mortgages Limited.
Sylvia Waycot
Director of Publishing
Sylvia joined Moneyfacts Group as Director of Publishing in 2007.
Sylvia was Editor of ‘Health Insurance Magazine’ part of the Informa Group and
subsequently Managing Editor of Informa’s Intellectual Property Portfolio.
Her previous career included Head of PR at Virgin Money, Editor of Life & Pensions
Moneyfacts, Project Development at Centaur and as a fully qualified Financial Adviser.

Howard Young
Chief Information Officer
Howard joined Moneyfacts Group as CIO in February 2010. Previous to that he was IT Manager of
Direct Choice Insurance Services, part of the Saga Group of Companies.
Howard has a BSc (Hons) in Computing and Business Studies and an MA in Management Studies
from the University of Leicester.
His earlier career includes IT Manager at Jardine Lloyd Thomson Group, Database Developer
at Harrisons & Crosfield and Systems Consultant at AXA Insurance.
Kelly Hedges
Head of Relationship Management
Kelly joined Moneyfacts Group in 2006 as a researcher, analysing and interpreting financial
data. Her deep understanding of products made her an obvious choice to work in Business
Development. As a senior member of the team, Kelly manages key commercial relationships with
subscribers to Moneyfacts’ online competitor analysis systems. Kelly has a BA (Hons) Business
Management.

Lisa Taylor
Relationship Manager
Lisa joined the Moneyfacts research team in 2005. Her product knowledge and degree in economics
led her to a role in the press office before joining Business Development. Lisa advises on the
range of Moneyfacts Group’s online solutions, drawing on her experiences of both analysing and
writing about finance as well as several years working in a high street bank.

Emma Jenkins
Relationship Manager
As a relationship manager in the Business Development team, Emma liaises with banks and building
societies across the UK. Highly qualified in both FPC, CeMAP and CIS Securities, Emma is able to
easily define requirements and present the appropriate solutions. She joined Moneyfacts Group in
2011.
