The winners of the 2009 Moneyfacts Awards were announced on 12 June 2009 at the Brewery in London in front of nearly 300 industry guests.

Welcomed by Sylvia Waycot, Publisher of Moneyfacts, the guests were treated to a delicious lunch and were entertained by BBC Breakfast's Bill Turnbull, who was also the host of the ceremony.

In what has turned out to be one of the most challenging 12-month periods for the financial services industry in living history, it is encouraging that providers have responded whenever possible to maintain or improve their product ranges. This has been reflected in this year's awards, where competition has been intense. We have been greatly impressed with the level of commitment shown and upbeat comments given by service providers and brokers."
