Welcomed by Sylvia Waycot, Publisher of Moneyfacts, the guests were treated to a delicious dinner and were treated to a series of anecdotes from BBC Breakfast presenter Bill Turnbull, who was also the host of the ceremony.
Lee Tillcock, Editor of Business Moneyfacts, said:
"A year of substantial challenges within the business sector has seen all those
involved within it fight hard to secure their futures. Yet, in spite of these demanding
times and the much publicised upheavals, supportive work of real quality is still
being undertaken by brokers and providers within the commercial finance world.
There is undoubtedly more to be done if the necessary SME growth is to provide the
economy with the boost it requires. If the commitment to quality and product choice
displayed at these awards is a reflection of the wider market, then 2010 may see
the economy get back on its feet."
