Derek Wylde
Head of Group Fraud, HSBC Group

Derek Wylde has worked for HSBC for 30 years undertaking a variety of roles in the UK. After 8 years as Head of Fraud Management for the cards division he moved into Group head office in 2004 and is currently responsible for fraud prevention strategy, policy and standards for all channels across HSBC Group worldwide. He is chairman of the APACS Plastic Fraud Prevention Forum (PFPF) and is the UK representative on MasterCard’s European fraud and security committee. He is married with two sons and his interests include playing and watching cricket.
