Martin Gaule has over 20 years experience in the application of forensic science to investigations initially as a crime scene examiner and later manager with the Metropolitan Police, and Surrey Police. In 1995 Martin was appointed as Scientific Support Manager for Sussex Police where he had responsibility for the strategic management of crime scene investigation, fingerprints, forensic and technical support. Martin has written and presented a number of papers and is the author of 'The Basic Guide to Forensic Awareness' - an introductory guide for investigators. He has been with the Forensic Science Service for seven years in a variety of roles and now leads on advising non-police customers on the best use of forensic science.
