Shaun Hargreaves-Heap

Shaun Hargreaves Heap did his degreees at Oxford and Berkeley and he has held visiting posts in Canada and Australia. He is a Professor of Economics, has been a Pro-Vice-Chancellor and is currently Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences. His current research is on the economics of film and television (where he has recently completed a consultancy for the Irish Competition Authority on how to assess the effect of media mergers on the extent of diversity of viewpoint) and on the experimental understanding of decision making (where he is currently investigating the influence of group identification on willingness to trust). He Chairs the Board of the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Art and The Board of Trustees of the Overseas Development Group.
