Head of Risk Management at Barclaycard Business, responsible for Acquiring and Corporate Card Issuing Credit Risk, Fraud and Debt Recovery. A fellow of the Institute of Credit Management, I have worked for Barclaycard for 20 years in a variety of positions covering Business Research, Finance and latterly Risk. I have been involved in fraud prevention for 15 years both in the capacity of stopping collusive fraud by merchants and assisting retailers protect themselves from cardholder fraud. I have represented Barclays on numerous fraud-related committees across Visa, Mastercard and Switch. I am a member and treasurer of the European Chapter of the International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators and have previously spoken at fraud conferences in Europe and the USA. I not only deal in prevention but also have years of experience in the detection, investigation and prosecution of collusive fraud and asset recovery.
