The Business Moneyfacts Awards, held at a gala dinner, is the largest business finance awards ceremony in the UK and one of the highlights of the industry calendar. Rigorous product monitoring is carried out throughout the preceding year, and the broker and business communities are also consulted for their feedback. The Business Moneyfacts Awards logo is a widely recognised badge of excellence, and as a result, past finalists and winners have benefitted their businesses by showcasing their success.

The finalists and eventual winners of the Business Moneyfacts Awards are decided upon via a combination of methods. For all product-specific categories, detailed weekly analysis of the data provided to us and displayed in Business Moneyfacts magazine or on any of the Moneyfacts online systems between 1 December 2019 and 30 November 2020 is undertaken by our large and well-qualified research team.
For service categories, the broker and business communities are offered the chance to submit testimonials for their preferred providers, with online forms in each relevant category opening on 12 October 2020 and closing 20 November 2020. Those submitting responses are asked to consider all the areas of service that providers have offered between 1 December 2019 and 20 November 2020.
In the broker/introducer categories, entries will open between 12 October 2020 and closing 20 November 2020, with shortlists announced in January 2021. Shortlisted brokers/introducers will then be able to invite contacts to submit testimonials until February 2021.
An internal judging panel assesses and decides on the final positions in the broker/introducer and innovation categories.
